Graeme is a principal of rePlan and its sister firm planningAlliance. Graeme has 15 years of project experience in resettlement planning, community engagement, impact assessment and social development. He has worked with a broad range of private sector clients in North America and overseas, including Barrick, Newmont and Chevron. Graeme’s work emphasizes the linkages between physical, environmental and socio-economic planning, and is founded on a commitment to extensive disclosure, consultation and participatory planning activities. He has led the preparation of a number of Social Impact Assessments, as well as the preparation and implementation of various Resettlement Action Plans, Consultation and Disclosure Action Plans, and Worker Housing Action Plans. Graeme is a graduate of McGill University (1995), and received an M Sc in Geography from Pennsylvania State University (1997) He has written and lectured widely on issues relating to sustainable community development.
